Project 6

  1. A1: Either your optical mix piece or your last piece, for different reasons. For the optical mix. I like the progression loosing the two individual colors into the neutral one especially because it has a good focal point object in the middle that doesnt follow the same pattern. The last piece use the monochromatic scheme to make an interesting space. I feel like it's cavernous, even though I don't think that was your original intentions.

A2: The staff lounge piece I think is your weakest. The color is okay, but I feel like the harsh geometric lines the space outward from the focal point make it sort of boring, and that there is nothing really happening

A3: Overall, your book does well to flow from one piece to the next, and has some good pieces. Again I like the optical mix, and I felt like it broke up book in the right spot, marking a difference.

  2. A1 - The most visually striking color concept is the optical mix that uses red and green to make a brown color. I think it shines because it stands out compared to the other compositions due to the patterns.
A2 - The least visually composition was the vibrating edge composition. The color vibrations wasn't as intense as it could have been.
A3 - The flow of the composition color wise is very good except when it was broken by the optical mix.
